We have only been open for 4 years now serving a six weeks to six-year-olds we do take payments from the state which is called action for children and we are 100% DCFS approved. We pride ourselves on being close knit and very personalized, where each child will get individual lessons with a program catered to them not just as an age group, but as an individual. At Cloudydaycare we feel strongly about the following goals:
- To get along with other children and function in a group setting
- To relate to adults other than family members and feel comfortable about being away from home
- To act independently and take responsibility for themselves
- To develop a means of self-expression
- To foster a strong, positive self-image
Everything we do is designed to support these goals and the children’s development—including the way we arrange the classroom, our daily schedule, our learning areas, the materials available to the children, and how we display those materials.

Diamond Delay
Diamond Delay, CEO and Founder of The Children’s Cloud Daycare Center, is a passionate early childhood educator and dedicated advocate for children and families. A graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Diamond has been working with children since 2017 and has built The Children’s Cloud around one simple belief: every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
Diamond believes that honest and open communication with parents is one of the most important parts of a child’s success. She is committed to being upfront with families about their child’s development, strengths, and areas where additional support may be needed. Rather than overlooking developmental concerns, Diamond believes in addressing them early, keeping children on track with their milestones, and encouraging parents to seek appropriate support and resources when necessary.
Her leadership is built on honesty, accountability, compassion, and high expectations. She works closely with families and staff to create an environment where children are not only cared for, but challenged, supported, and prepared for their next stage of learning.
Above all, Diamond genuinely loves children. Her passion for early childhood education is reflected in the relationships she builds with children, families, and her team. She is dedicated to creating a daycare experience where children feel safe, loved, respected, and excited to learn.
